The Ajax 6V PSU (type A), formerly called 6V PSU for Hub 2/Hub 2 Plus/ReX 2, is a power supply board that lets newer Ajax hubs and the ReX 2 range extender run from an external low-voltage battery. It combines a 4.2–10 V DC input, a standard power jack and a terminal adapter, and is installed in place of the standard 110/230 V power unit. It suits empty properties, construction sites and buildings with the power switched off that still need intrusion, fire and leak protection.
